Romina Minucci
Romina Minucci was born in 1974 near Arezzo, where she still lives. After studying English and Russian at universities in Florence, England and the Ukraine, she obtained a first-class degree, in Russian Language and Literature from the University of Florence.
In 2001 she completed a postgraduate certificate in the "Theory and Practice of Literary Translation".

She has subsequently worked as a freelance translator in various fields, from medicine to literature. She also teaches English courses for the Ministry of Health.

Romina has always been interested in languages, literature and different cultures in general. Her interest has rapidly developed into passion and devotion to translation, and literary translation in particular. She loves reading, ranging from classical to contemporary authors, always with attention to translations.... what we call professional deviation!

In 2005 she served as co-librettist for the Italian operatic adaptation of William Shakespeare's, "The Winter's Tale", which was premiered by International Opera Theater in Teatro Avvaloranti, Cittą della Pieve, Italy, following the town's ten day Palio celebration.
