IOT Artistic Director, Karen Saillant presents "Your Zanni is Calling" for Gap International. The performance features 150 Commedia dell'Arte masks designed by Aaron Cromie.

IOT presents "Il Racconto D'Inverno", a world premiere Italian operatic adaptation of "The Winter's Tale" in Teatro Avvaloranti, Italy (music by Troy Herion).
IOT presents a concert of new music by Mena Mark Hanna and Kile Smith: "Musica del Cuore". Performances take place in Castel Giorgio, Italy
and Teatro Avvaloranti, Citta della Pieve, Italy.

IOT begins producing works in Teatro Avvaloranti (Citta della Pieve, Italy).

"Sui Sentieri dell'Anima" is performed in Castel Giorgio, Italy.

"Sui Sentieri dell'Anima", a new song cycle by Philadelphia composer, Nicolas Mastripolito, based on poems of a deceased poet from Citta della Pieve, is premiered in Teatro Avvaloranti, Citta della Pieve, Italy.

IOT presents The American International School for Commedia dell'Arte, which holds class for a second year with Maestro Antonio Fava.

Maestro Vittorio Rossetta (la scala di Milano) is brought to America for master classes.

Maestro Antonio Mugnari, master of 18th century inlaid woodwork, is brought to America for master classes at Philadelphia University and The University of the Arts.

2003

"Brundibar and the Children of Terezin" is performed at Allens Lane Art Center, Philadelphia.

American International School for Commedia dell'Arte is founded by International Opera Theater Artistic Director, Karen Saillant and Maestro Antonio Fava.

"Gallantry" is performed at The Sedgwick Cultural Center and for "Sundays on Stage" at The Montgomery Auditorium, Free Library of Philadelphia.
